Though the film deals with an emotionally-charged subject, it steers clear of melodrama. But it’s not an easy watch and there are more than a few uncomfortable truths to be digested. Padukone is the star of the show, delivering a poignant performance. That at no point does she succumb to self-pity makes her (and the film) a winner. In supporting roles, Massey and Sarghi pitch in with commendable performances. [18] BJP MP and Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Babul Supriyo called the change deliberate and "absolute hypocrisy". [25] BJP MP from South Delhi, Ramesh Bidhuri made calls to public for a boycott of the movie. He stated that the claims of the attacker belonging to the Hindu religion were false, since the movie showed him as a Muslim. [18] Journalist Radhika Sharma from PTI reported that Rajesh was the name of Malti's boyfriend. The acid attacker was called Bashir Khan urf Babboo in the film. Taichi himself says, "I can't look him in the eye. " So Taichi may not remember what Arata's eyes look like as he's "narrating" these events. This ties into what you said about Taichi being an "unreliable narrator" as well. :) But this is actually Taichi's bottom left quadrant, even though the shadow has him on the bottom side of the board from this orientation instead. More Madhouse errors! Yet, this also ties in pretty nicely with the idea that Taichi and Arata are in essence two sides of the same coin, very similar and yet different from each other, to the point that even the animators mix them up. Poza tym czy wasza wiara nie jest silniejsza od jakichś głupich rysunków? – nie wiedzieli, co powiedzieć. W grudniu zorganizowałam debatę o burkini w stylu amerykańskim. Kazałam przeczytać im wszystkie artykuły z prasy na ten temat: lewicowe i prawicowe. Czytali teksty feministek – przeciwniczek i zwolenniczek burkini. Poznali zdanie salafitów, którzy też byli przeciwni, ale z innych powodów: według nich burkini jest zbyt obcisłe. Poza tym prawdziwa muzułmanka nie chodzi na plażę – z tym zgodziło się wiele uczennic. Najpierw gadaliśmy. Jedni proponowali: – Niech zrobią osobną plażę dla muzułmanek w burkini. – Jasne, to jeszcze zróbmy plażę dla białych i czarnych. To wam się wydaje sensowne? – spytałam. – No nie, to rzeczywiście idiotyczne – przyznali. – Ale kobiety, które opalają się z gołymi pupami i cyckami na wierzchu, dlaczego one mogą? Na koniec roku cała klasa mocnym głosem śpiewa ze mną „Marsyliankę”. Burkini - nie tylko dla skromnych Lekcja 5. Apartheid Dwóch moi braci to antysemici. To starsza pani, muzułmanka w chuście. Opowiadała moim dzieciom spokojnym głosem to, czego nie usłyszeliby od polityków. „Kocham Francję i Maroko. Kocham islam. Z moimi dziećmi obchodziłam i Boże Narodzenie i ramadan. Uczyłam ich miłości do Francji, to z tego powodu mój syn został wojskowym”. Latifa przypominała uczniom ich matki, byli wzruszeni.
