Black Christmas is the 2nd remake of the beloved classic movie black Christmas which I am saying right now, and that might play into why I did enjoy this movie so much. Is this movie perfect no not at all but the movie is not as bad as everyone is making it out to be and it is a lot better than a lot of movies I saw this year especially horror wise. The cast all does a great job and the horror elements are well used. The Dialog is at times wacky but not in a bad way. But where the movie flops is when it try's to get all political and it just ends up being triggering but when the movie is not doing that and it's being a horror movie it's a lot of fun to see unfold because the story is alittle over the top. Overall I enjoyed this movie it's not anything special but still it's a fun Christmas horror movie I can see myself watching again.

Am I remembering wrong, or wasn't this largely the plot of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode? Only - that one involved demons in cheap makeup and was somehow more realistic. 10:44 for some reason I love this scene. There's two good things in this movie. Imogen Poots and the sorority song about date rape, which was funny. This movie has a handful of cheap jump scares and almost no tension. It is one of the worst movies I've seen but does have its few enjoyable moments. Clearly this was a script unrelated to Black Christmas which just had the title slapped on it. Nothing to do
with the original. Ugh.

I was hoping to see something really awesome and scary, but the movie sucks. All it was about is cliché and it's really dumb of how the story build up did not have the perfect plot twist or some shit. There is so many things to really work on this movie, I expected to see really good details of how the main protagonist cope with her past and her demons, how she can face it without being afraid and how she and her friends can defeat their opponent (the crazy cult) but the whole movie plot and the details itself is horrible. Tbh, I had high hopes for this movie because I really want to see this since the trailers came out, but after watching the movie I regret it because of how terrible the movie is.

Saw the movie last night it was a let down, but I like how they did something different by telling us an all new story instead of reusing the same story.
I've seen 164 films at the cinema this year, and this by far the worst film of the year. A ridiculous plot and political correctness gone overboard. The writer and director should be kicked out of the industry for this travesty of celluloid.
